NYFW - Victoria Beckham Spring/Summer

Victoria Beckham at the age of 39 was at New York Fashion Week to launch her latest Spring and Summer collection.

She went for a more casual style but still stylish. True to her signature style, she showcased a more 'boyish' side to herself. Check out some of her clothes below.

First Impression : The Bachelor - Aussie Version

So I missed the premiere of The Bachelor Australia, but it doesn't look like I missed too much...

And here are some of my predictions (after watching all series of the US Bachelor and Bachelorette)

Similarities -

  • Andrew G sounds and speaks just like Chris Harrison, come on! Use some original line, "the stakes are high", "he is serious"
  • Lavish dates - the first date (the one that always puts the most pressure on the girl towards the end of the series, trust me in the American version, the girl gets really insecure and some have become depressed and psycho) there is a private jet!
  • Beautiful women - Sarah the gorgeous brunette, Ali the blonde bombshell, real estate agent
  • Honest women - Penny says "you have known him for 10 minutes and you say you are in love with him, come on, give me a break" and she will most likely be shown as a "b*tch" later on in the series, and Ali goes "is that dress see through?"
  • Genuine women - every series of the Bachelor, there are women that beautiful on the outside and inside and this is great to watch
My predictions - Ali and Sarah are early favourites

Mirror Mirror - Australia's Next Top Model

The episode begins with "Jen Mail", which gives them a hint "all angles" and Jade (the personal trainer) yells "trapizum" then quirky-looking Melissa (the shortest girl there) says "Dude, that's a shape..." (Ha! That's that's what I was thinking)

The girls head to an anti-gravity yoga class where they use hammocks and it looks amazing!! (I wanna try). They mix pilates, yoga and dance together.

The challenge - the girls in pairs have to get changed and made up in a telephone booth. But they have to get changed into Alex Perry's next collection with HIM watching. Ugh those steely eyes and those sunnies sitting comfortably on his head.

Abbie wins! She has two attempts and wins both. She's so bubbly.

Djana yells something rude from frustration with the boots to Alex Perry "if your clothes were better quality, maybe the laces on your boots wouldn't be frayed". SLAP! But she has better vocabulary then other girls.

So she better bring it at the photoshot!

On to the photoshot, Djana WINS!! Check out the photos below...the final 6 next.
Djana, "perhaps if your clothes are better quality", "she wins"

Abbie in a softer moment

Duckie

Jade, "trapezium!!!"

Melissa, the shortest girl there but beautiful face

Shanali, bottom 2 this week, awkward this week

More coming in a week's time!

Why should you use an eye cream?

Eye creams - why should you use it?

Many beauty editors have said you are never too young to start using it. Generally, you would dab it under your eye, over your eye lid and the area between your nose and eye.

Eye creams have many talents - they protect the skin before makeup application, moisturise, reduce puffiness, reduce the appearance of dark circles and slow or prevent aging lines/evidence.

Jurlique Herbal Recovery Eye Cream - it's packed with botanical oils, help to fade dark circles (so it brightens) and firm.

It feels light but still moistursing the same time. Like all of their products, it smells lovely. 4 stars.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Eye Cream - they aim for many things like decrease puffiness, fine lines, uneven skintone, wrinkles. Similar to the serum but thicker because the skin under the eye is more fragile. It feels hydrating during and after application. 4 stars

Trilogy Eye Contour Cream - feels lighter than the above two products and it doesn't really have a scent. After a couple of months, it smells 'off' which means something has gone wrong or they don't use preservatives (I doubt it). 2 stars
Want more on eye creams? let me know
