Recap : After The Bachelor finale

So I have been incredibly quiet about this and have not voiced my opinion on what has happened since the Bachelor finale. But - I can no longer hold it in. So here goes...

Louise and Blake on The Project

Firstly, the proposal where Blake announced to Sam (and the whole Australian public) that he has one final question for Sam and tells us he is sure of it but doesn't make the effort to date his fiance or see her face-to-face? Strange

After the finale, no interviews with the media is scheduled and this is indeed very strange.

Blake and Louise on their final date
Secondly, he dodges questions when asked by the media, including Channel Ten's The Project. He is obviously not going to tell us the truth. He is obviously in love with someone else and has something about it.

In conclusion, he is one confused dude who needs some harsh talking from his mother and aunt. Who on this world, pronounces their love for one person and being so certain about it and then a few weeks later changes his mind. If he felt pressure to proposed by Channel Ten, he should have realised it's his life and Tim didn't proposed and that has worked out pretty good...

I did want Louise to win, I absolutely loved her and her sense of style but I didn't want her to win her love this way. But I wish them the best of luck.

Silly goose.

What do you think?

Have a lovely day!

Recap ; We are Down to 2!! The Bachelor Australia

So now I really don't know who Blake is going to pick!

He has told both Lisa and Sam, he is falling for them - hard.

But Lisa and Sam have declared their love and feelings for him.

Louise went home (I knew it!). They have a more playful and fun relationship, as oppose, to serious and 'will this last forever'? 'can we just be fun and playful for the rest of our life?'

See below style photos from last night

So who you think he will choose???

Recap : The Bachelor Australia - Who will Blake Choose?

Last week's episode was Home Towns where Blake visited the family of the final four Bachelorettes. This is normally a daunting event and things did go wrong when Blake accidentally knocked a champagne glass into Louise's father but things mostly did go right. (Jessica left without the rose at the end of last week's episode).

The preview for tomorrow night's finale shows Blake proposing with a $58k Bunda ring!! Ehhh, hello?? Lucky girl.

So how did the home dates stack up?? (I'm going to keep it simple)

Louise

  • their relationship is playful and fun
  • her parents liked Blake
  • Blake liked Louise's family
  • they are always making out

Sam
  • Blake tells her, he is FALLING for her (big news!)
  • He loves her family
  • Her family loves him
  • She puts up a wall and he feels vulnerable (queue sad music)

Lisa
  • They have fun together
  • He is amazed how loaded her parents are
  • Her family likes Blake

So who do you think Blake will propose to??

And while you ponder on that question, here is another photo of Blake...

Recap : The Face Australia Episode 2

The week starts with Naomi Campbell teaching the girls how to shoot with a product (that takeovers) and all they have is 60 seconds to sell the product.

The Face Australia, Sarah
Sarah who looks like Nicole Trunfio won with 32 useable shots. #TeamNaomi She wins a gorgeous, blue Givenchy bag.

This weeks challenge was 'high end fashion' photoshoot for Marie Claire. The judge was Jackie Frank, Editor and Publisher (who I adore and never miss an issue).

#TeamNaomi wins and all the girls look gorgeous

Recap : The Face Australia Episode 1

The ever successful Australia's Next Top Model has some serious competition and that is Naomi Campbell. Having already established the US and UK franchise, Naomi is here to discover the next international supermodel.

On first glance, ANTM has newbies and girls that lack experience, whereas The Face has experienced girls and girls that have careers (some even international including the Big Apple).

The host, George (famous photographer whom I've never heard of), the girls first meet in a transformed Carriageworks. Throughout the weeks, the girls will be mentored by Nicole Trunfio, Cheyenne Tozzi and Naomi Campbell.

If the girls are lucky to be chosen, they have to pick their mentor. Then they fight it out to be the last one remaining.

Will you be watching?

First Impression : The Bachelor - Aussie Version

So I missed the premiere of The Bachelor Australia, but it doesn't look like I missed too much...

And here are some of my predictions (after watching all series of the US Bachelor and Bachelorette)

Similarities -

  • Andrew G sounds and speaks just like Chris Harrison, come on! Use some original line, "the stakes are high", "he is serious"
  • Lavish dates - the first date (the one that always puts the most pressure on the girl towards the end of the series, trust me in the American version, the girl gets really insecure and some have become depressed and psycho) there is a private jet!
  • Beautiful women - Sarah the gorgeous brunette, Ali the blonde bombshell, real estate agent
  • Honest women - Penny says "you have known him for 10 minutes and you say you are in love with him, come on, give me a break" and she will most likely be shown as a "b*tch" later on in the series, and Ali goes "is that dress see through?"
  • Genuine women - every series of the Bachelor, there are women that beautiful on the outside and inside and this is great to watch
My predictions - Ali and Sarah are early favourites

2012's New TV Hit Shows

So it's been awhile and I do have to apologise for my laziness but I have had a lot of worries happening. Anyway, I thought I might give you a preview of a couple of my favourite tv shows for this year and you MUST watch it.

To start and perhaps my favourite is a new tv show called Revenge

This tv show is about a girl who's father was framed for a terroist act in the States and this act killed hundreds on a plane. She find this out later in her teens once she's out of juvie and she's pissed. Real pissed.

But she has help, firstly her father left her with a handsome fund and a friend who is loyal to her father helps her to carry out carefully planned events to destroy the lives of those that joined together to frame her father.

But there are plenty of hiccups along the way. A mentally ill friend of her pretend boyfriend tries to kill her and her juvie friend who is a murderer comes and visits her.

This show is exciting, it has the glamour of Gossip Girl but of course without the brattiness and the pointless evil schemes of Blair and Chuck and it's cleverly written and played out.

Now don't think I am encouraging revenge because I am not. This shows makes you think about what you would do instead of Amanda/Emily.

But I do support justice, just not that twisted.

See on on Channel 7 soon.

Once Upon A Time

If you like fairy tales but in a modern way, then this show is for you.

There is a lot of darkness and happiness. Every episode is different and we learn something new about the curse.

It has characters from all of the fairy tales we know, Snow White, Hansel and Gretel and etc.

And it stars House actress - Jennifer Morrison, along with other well-known actors Ginnifer Goodwin from Mona Lisa Smile and Big Love.

Also showing on Channel 7.

Keep watching and let me know what you guys think.

Summer TV Viewing Pleasures

Summer is just around the corner and there are some very exciting tv shows to be shown.

First on the list:

Hawaii-Five-O - This show is a remake and stars Aussie Star Alex O'Loughlin. It is a cross between NCIS (without the NCIS unique humour) and includes a lot of action and fighting scenes. The show also stars Grace Park who is over 35 but you wouldn't have known unless I told you. And she's hot and an awesome female cop. There's humour and there's great on-screen chemistry. Love!

Nikita - There has been a movie and a series based on this woman. But who is she? She was trained as an assassin but turns out the company that she works for, isn’t really the government and must be stopped. She is the new Alias but with less mysteries, mind-bending scenarios and double-identities (I’m referring to Vaughn and Sydney’s mother). However, she still kicks a lot of arse so expect a lot of action and female power. On Go!

Pretty Little Liars - Who killed their best friend? As episodes unravel, the audience discovers the deep dark secrets of each of the teenage girls in the show. It's not as family-rated tv show as I thought it would be. Slightly dark, scary and lots of twists. (Cue lesbian love, forbidden relationship between student and teacher, youth lipo...see it isn't really family orientated.)

The Gates - following the success of vampires and werewolves, another tv show has emerged. This time, a community within 'The Gates' all live with very dark and deep secrets. A family moves there, the dad being the new Chief of police. There are many twists, it's dark, scary, lots of blood but the usual teenage love story and normal drama. (Expect vampire and werewolf showdowns, voodoo magic and other creepy stuff)

Happy Viewing! But if it's an awesome day, go to the beach...it's summer after all.
