Recap : The Bachelor Australia - Who will Blake Choose?

Last week's episode was Home Towns where Blake visited the family of the final four Bachelorettes. This is normally a daunting event and things did go wrong when Blake accidentally knocked a champagne glass into Louise's father but things mostly did go right. (Jessica left without the rose at the end of last week's episode).

The preview for tomorrow night's finale shows Blake proposing with a $58k Bunda ring!! Ehhh, hello?? Lucky girl.

So how did the home dates stack up?? (I'm going to keep it simple)

Louise

  • their relationship is playful and fun
  • her parents liked Blake
  • Blake liked Louise's family
  • they are always making out

Sam
  • Blake tells her, he is FALLING for her (big news!)
  • He loves her family
  • Her family loves him
  • She puts up a wall and he feels vulnerable (queue sad music)

Lisa
  • They have fun together
  • He is amazed how loaded her parents are
  • Her family likes Blake

So who do you think Blake will propose to??

And while you ponder on that question, here is another photo of Blake...

Model Spotlight ; Cara Delevingne

Currently, her face is everywhere. She is a muse of every fashion house giant. So who is Cara?

She is the youngest daughter of Pandora and Charles who is a property developer and her sister, Poppy is also a model. She has the largest social media followers and she is constantly on social media. Her friends includes Reese Witherspoon, Taylor Swift and Rita Ora. And she is only 22.

Check out some of her fashion campaigns for Chanel (working out some dumbbells), Burberry (iconic trench coats), Mulberry (the most luxury handbags) and YSL (new red rouge).

Model Spotlight : Kendall Jenner for Miss Vogue Australia

Kendall as she is now professionally known has been taking the modelling and fashion industry by storm (she dropped her last name, perhaps as an attempt to further herself from the crazy tv show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians and her crazy family.)

In the Spring/Summer fashion shows, she has been busy walking down the catwalk for Balmain, Marc Jacobs and Chanel but she has taken some time to pose for the camera for Miss Vogue Australia.

See below for the gorgeous photos.

Cover : Vogue on Blake Lively

You may immediately think of Gossip Girl when you think of Blake Lively or she's married to Ryan Reynolds.

But did you know, she spent two years building a website called Preserve before she officially launched it.

Her website is dedicated to food, clothes, pillows, dishes, dining tables etc...a bit like Martha Stewart's areas of expertise. It's a magazine so you can read, videos so you can watch and a shop so you can buy if you see something you like.

To visit her website, click here.

Vogue US recently headed to Blake's favourite place and shot some amazing photos against some breathtaking backdrops. Photos by the great Mario Testino.

Will you check out her website?

Issue : Feminism - this is what Emma Watson thinks

This is a heavy topic and I must warn you, if you do not want to be challenged mentally and think through what is happening around the world right now (and decades that have past) regarding gender equality, then you should stop reading here.

But for those who has witnessed some inequality in some shape or form, then I think it's time we speak and discuss this issue.

This issue that affects the way I live my life and the way that women live their lives around the world. So what is the big deal? And why did Emma Watson speak for over 10 minutes at the U.N. Headquarters in NYC about this?

Below are quotes from Emma's speech, they provide clarity:

"For the record: Feminism by definition is the belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities. It is the theory of the political, economic and social equality of the sexes," the British actress said, framing gender equality as a human right."

Watson also cited Hillary Clinton's 1997 Beijing speech about women's rights to show that strides forward have been slow: "Sadly, many of the things that she wanted to change are still true today."

"How can we affect change in the world when only half of it is invited or feel welcome to participate in the conversation. Men, I would like to take this opportunity to extend your formal invitation, " she said as the audience cheered. "Gender equality is your issue too."

If we think of it a little further, gender equality extends both ways. Men in this society are often pressured to act tough, strong and not show any signs of vulnerability and any sign of weakness. So therefore, blocking half of human emotions.

This obviously does not sound great and as Emma has pointed out, the biggest killer in the UK for men is suicide. This rate is higher than diseases, heart attacks, etc.

So I would like the men to support the women and I would like the women to support the men.

Because in all honesty, I cannot or could not have lived without the men in my life, my father, my grandfather and my fiance. So I am sure you would say the same.

What are your thoughts?

What have you experienced?

P.s Feminism is not a cringe-worthy word. Your mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and cousin needs your support to stand up for what is a human right.

Red Carpet : Brownlow Medal 2014

Every year, most of us know there is the Brownlow Medal. As much as I don't know much about the event or the sport, I do pay attention to the fashion the WAGS (that is the Wives and Girlfriends of these AFL players).

The most famous WAG is Rebecca Judd and she did not disappoint. She is a fashion and style regular.

Check out some of the red carpet pictures:

Fashion : the Women of the Bachelor Australia's Style

Right now, we are down to just four ladies remaining in the competition for Bachelor Blake's love.

The remaining ladies are Lisa, Louise, Sam and Jessica.

Along the way, there has been plenty of drama and a showcase of quite a few entertaining characters including the Audrey Hepburn lookalike in Laurina and additional ladies to gain Blake's attention.

Below are some of my favourite outfits the ladies have worn.

Louise in Episode 16, in the popular style of two pieces
Laurina in Episode 15, channelling her favourite, fashion icon, the late Audrey Hepburn
Louise again in Episode 13, in a gorgeous Sheike dress.

Zoe in Episode 13, who was just booted but not because of this outfit.
The Bachelor is on Wednesday nights at 7.30pm.

Have you been watching?
Who is your pick to win?
