My first go, and the first 2 minutes of the movie, it would happen like this...
As they say, love conquers all so it’s no different when (like all female leads in a movie) I realised that I had to follow the one I love. Even if it meant, leaving my family and friends, my home to somewhere that was foreign and different.
Like?

Lazy Friday...
It's Friday and it's 4.30pm.
I am feeling really numb from financial year end...and it's finally dying down, after 2 months of very late nights and working on saturdays.
I am given one day time in lieu, which is good but I did expect more, considering I easily worked 4 extra hours everyday for the past 2 months...
But I am happy :) So I should just keep smiling
Signing out now because there isn't really much to say and I simply just want to sleep.
Sleep is such a luxury and we should all get plenty of it.

One year on...
One year on, things have changed, life has moved on but you will always remain in my heart and I will always treasure our memories and special moments together.
This past year has probably been the most eye opening for me.
I have come to realise that I am a lot stronger than I thought I was. I found out how much I value my family and love.
Through sufferings and sadness, people either dwell in depression and never escape. Or some learn from the experience and become a better and wiser person.
I would like to think I am the latter.
Although, originally, I was in a deep, deep hole. But I trust that God has a plan for everything. I needed this to found out the love and respect that I should have for myself. I needed this to found out that I was a rock and supporting building for my mother. I needed this to realise that I can do anything because I know who I am.
God bless, one year on, I am happier, stronger and ready for absolutely anything.

How shoes are not meant forever...
Ok so you are probably thinking that the title is a metaphor, that perhaps I am referring to something else that is happening in my life.
Well, that is partially true.
Metaphorically, shoes give us comfort. It can give us confidence to stand tall. It can give us every reason to take fit and maintain a healthy lifestyle. But what happens, when it is taken away?
What happens when that same, usual thing has been taken away and we cannot find a replacement. Then we know that comfort and confidence can come and go away. Often beyond our control.
Onto the literal part. It’s raining. It’s pouring and I’m pretty sure there are old men snoring.
The weather has destroyed two of my beloved flats. Bye bye Rocadog…
I must find a pair of flats that will withstand the rain, wind and anything else mother nature will throw at me.
Until next time,
Xo

What's on tv?
I love watching people's lives unfold on tv.
So I suppose that means I love reality television. But who's to say that's a bad thing?
Lately, High Society has captured my attention. There's a damsel in distress, her Prince (or rather some Princes or commoners), her fancy dresses and shoes and drama...lots of drama.
Tune in to watch big personalities react, cry and act all "classy".
Next, America's Next Top Model has not failed to keep me entertained. It's funny and the concept still works after 12 seasons. They must be doing something right!
So that's what I will be watching...wait for my next instalments on non-reality tv show...it should be a good one!

My Eye on Fashion...
First impressions are everything. Thus it’s best not to be wearing the wrong colour or mismatched accessories.
Everlasting first impressions can be imprinted by possessing the knowledge of the most up-to-date trends and the ability to pull it off naturally.
Unmemorable first impressions are where one doesn’t make an effort to be more than plain Jane
.
One might say I’m obsessed by fashion but I merely reply that I am possessed by fashion.
So Secretly I know what will take-off and what will be not missed.
I love the creativity of the masterminds and am excited to make it history.

I Must Admit...
Everyone knows, being injured is no fun. And the aftermath can be quite unbearable. So here is my story of how I sprained my ankle three times under three seconds...
Ready for a touch footy game for Corporate Games at 8am, I made my way to the train station to take the train to Macquarie Uni. My ride to the touch footy fields was unreliable so I ended up walking that 2km or so.
Late, I was and tired and wet from the grass, I had missed my first game. But no fear, another two games remained.
At 12.15pm, during the last game for the day, some 200kg man decided to stir a fight with a 45kg girl (me). Strange, I thought, especially since it's unprofessional and unneccessary.
Running backwards in keeping formation of the line and running into a ditch on the field. My right ankle went far out and far in (because I tried to regain my balance) and far out (again in my attempt to regain balance).
Bad move.
Incredibly bad move.
I couldn't stand for 6 days, and I started walking after I could stand...
I'm back at work now, although, I still waddle instead of walking.
I missed my sports during the week and my dance.
But I'm on the road to recovery.
Wish me luck! Till next time.
