On first impressions of this product, it is beautifully presented in a lovely large bag with pink tissue paper.
The product box is well designed and attractive to the eye.
It has a pump function which is easy to use.
The product is thick but not oily and overly creamy.
It smells lovely and the product description tells me there are calendula and rosehip.
The moisturiser leaves my skin feeling comfortable and believe me this is a good start considering my skin is sensitive and dehydrated all year round.
Get it girls and guys.

The Rapper Turns Designer
This guy is a Taylor Swift bully but I am going to hand it to him. He has done well, designing for his Kayne West Collection for the Spring Summer Fashion Week in London (Yes it is London Fashion Week at the moment).
See below for a visual summary:
White dress, sexy cut-out.
Lots of whites, clean lines, very sexy
And lots of beige, nudes, hey this is my new backup
Cleavage alert!
Final walk.
Well done Kayne.

How to do the Beehive
Yep you have seen it on Amy Winehouse and it looks ugly...but did you think it could possibly be a glamorous up do?
The following is from handbag.com:
To create it you will need a long hair brush, a detail brush, some pins and a decorative hair band, ribbon or ornament.
Start by brushing your fringe forward, then move an inch back from where your fringe starts and take a line of hair forward. Work down to the ear on both sides, brushing the hair forward.
Now you can start smoothing and pulling the front sections loosely round, so the overall effect doesn't look too contrived and secure at the back. If you have a short fringe you can leave it smoothed on your forehead or for a long fringe, sweep it off too the side for added definition.
Finishing touches can glam up the final look - choose decorative combs, sparkly pins or strands of shiny ribbon. When you're happy with the results, keep everything in place with a strong hold hairspray and a defining gloss.
• This style works best on hair that has not just been washed - hair is easier to shape and manage a day or two after washing.
• For extra effect, choose a decorative ribbon, comb or flower to match your outfit or the occasion.
• When securing the back brushed sections to support the beehive, mould and shape to the height you want to achieve. The tighter you pull it the smaller the beehive.
• Try and angle a mirror so you can see how the style is looking from the back.
• And finally.... keep out of high winds and avoid low doorways!
See how cute is it?
Happy long weekend :)

Then gather up the back-brushed hair and start moulding it round to create height and gather up at the base to support the beehive at the front. Secure with pins to keep the hair in place.

Customer Service at it's Worse - Gasp
Gasp, a fashion boutique store in Chapel St, Melbourne has come under fire for their bitchy remarks towards a customer who had made a complaint.
Their defence is that they are not an exclusive store and welcome all customers...but that's not the message I am getting from their store manager.
Read below...it's both funny and shocking.
And let me know what you think!!
Hi,
I had the privilege of shopping at your brand new Chapel St store on Saturday 24th September with my three bridesmaids in tow.
On the hunt for bridesmaids dresses and a hens dress for myself we walked into the store and were automatically pounced on by a male staff member, I understand that this is protocol for many retail outlets and ours is no different.
The staff member was initially funny and extremely helpful with sizes etc. I chose a bright pink dress to try on but was unable to do the zip up so asked for the size up, when I eventually got the correct size and came out of the change room I was unable to discuss the likes or dislikes of the dress with my bridesmaids as the sales assistant kept saying “You should just get it”. When I told him I would think about it, he pulled me aside and whispered “Is it the price your worried about?”
By now I was extremely frustrated, and again told him I’d think about it, I walked back into the change room and closed the door behind me, only to have it pushed open with the sales assistant half standing in my change room, again whispering “I think you should just get it”, when I gave him attitude and said rudely, “I already told you I would think about it”, he then replied, “With your figure I really think you should buy it”.
I’m not sure exactly what he meant by that, but considering the attitude used to deliver such a statement I can only imagine that it was an immature dig in relation to my healthy size 12 frame.
I got changed in a hurry and walked right out of the change rooms and out of the store, I could hear the sales assistant yelling out to me, but I just ignored him and continued to leave, assuming my bridesmaids would follow.
After waiting down the road for my bridesmaids to come out of the store I was told by one of them that the sales assistant yelled out “Have fun finding something at Supre”, when one of them approached him in regards to his comments, he replied “I knew you girls were a joke the minute you walked in”.
When my bridesmaids walked out of the store another two customers walked out with them, they too could not believe the immaturity of the sales assistant.
I have worked in retail for 12 years and have come across an array of customer complaints over the years, none of which come even close to what I encountered on Saturday at your store, I wish I was exaggerating but unfortunately for your company this person actually exists and is working in one of your stores.
I am pretty laid back and was quite happy just leaving your store, it was my bridesmaids who felt the need to say something to him. I dread to think how many customers he has not only offended but how many customers have left your store due to the pressure placed on getting the sale, and then to be harassed when that sale hasn’t taken place.
Ring me, don’t ring, not fussed………I’m just one retailer notifying another of an extremely inappropriate sales assistant.
And here is the response.
Having now had the privilege of having both version of events, I am now in a position to respond to your complaint.
From the very outset, one thing that you should be mindful of is; Our product offerings are very, very carefully selected, so to ensure that we do not appeal to a broad customer base. This is something which is always at the forefront of our minds when undertaking buying duties.
The reason for this is to ensure that we only carry products which appeal to a very fashion forward consumer. This by default means that the customer whom is acclimatised to buying from “clothing for the masses” type retailers, is almost frightened by our range, sometimes we have found that this type of customer, almost finds our dresses funny, and on occasion noted comments such as ‘it looks like a dead flamingo’.
When we receive comments like this, we like to give ourselves and our buyers, a big pat on the back, because we know we are doing our job right, and modus operandi is being upheld.
Our range is worn by A list celebrities to the likes of Kim Kardashian, Selena Gomez and Katy Perry to name only a few. Now, as one might appreciate, the style counsel for these types of celebrities are not ones to pick “run of the mill” type clothing, and they do so on the basis to ensure that the styles are cutting edge, and only worn by a select few. Similarly these items are priced such that they remain inaccessible to the undesirable.
Insofar as our employee goes; Similar to our product offerings, our employees are selected with a similar approach. Chris whom served you is a qualified stylist whom has a sixth sense for fashion, and Chris’s only problem is that he is too good at what he does, and as I am sure you are aware, people whom are talented, generally do not tolerate having their time wasted, which is the reason you were provoked to leave the store.
Whilst I concede that you work for chain retailer, unfortunately that does not make us like for like. It is probably fair to assume, a lot of what I have said in this email, either doesn’t make sense to you, or you totally disagree with it all, which is what I would expect (unless of course I have you totally wrong –which I doubt).
Let me guess, you would never, ever hire Chris in the course of your duty, would you? This is the very reason, why your comment “from one retailer to another” is so disproportionate, it’s almost as though we are in a totally different industries. Chris is a retail superstar, who possess unparalleled ability, and I am sorry you feel upset by him, but he knew you were not going to buy anything before you even left your house.
So if you would like to do us any favours, please do not waste our retail staff’s time, because as you have already seen, they will not tolerate it. I am sure there are plenty of shops that appease your taste, so I respectfully ask that you side step our store during future window shopping expeditions.”
What do you guys think?? And the dresses Gasp stock above?

10 Yr Anniversary - 911 - where were you?
So it's been 10 years since the whole world changed.
Where were you when it happened?
I was at school and like me, I am always the last person to receive any news so when I saw my friends crying, I knew something big had happened.
We stopped class and we stopped school. All we did was sit in the classroom and watch the news. I too, started to cry.
When I got home, I was watching a woman and her son running around New York City trying to find her husband. She was in hysterics and she was desperately trying to find her husband. Her son was too young to understand but he knew something was wrong.
There was a happy ending to this story because her husband had stepped out of the office when the planes flew into the North and South Towers and so, he was unhurt.
This was incredibly moving but I knew not all of these people's stories would have a similar happy ending.
Channel 10 is showing 911 10 Year Specials and one of the families featured is the Burnetts. This family's courage and strength was so amazing to watch.
The girls now in their teens are scarred for life, waking up screaming in their sleep and isolating themselves from people and life.
But they have pride. Their father was on the United Flight 93 that was targeting the Pentagon but instead with the courage of ordinary men and women stood up to the terrorists and changed history.
The plane did not meet its' target.
Tom Burnett, along with his fellow passengers died as Heroes in 911.
God Bless.

Our favourite Aussie and international designers are coming together to put on a runway show in Melbourne CBD during the MSFW.
And of course they had to get the most awesome Aussie models including Alice Burdeau.
Some of the designers include Sass and Bide and Calvin Klein.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week - Sydney Review
Sydney Fashion Week is back. And this year all of the Australian designers have come together to put together a review in one fashion show.
Main hall, while we waited to get seated.
So who was the stand-out? Alex Perry in my opinion.
Stunning dresses that I am dying to own in my wardrobe.
I saw a trend - camel and mustard. It appears that it's so popular with all of the designers.
Kirrily Johnston
More camel and mustard
Let's dance! Beautiful white Bowie dress.
Men in tux. Now I want to go to a ball.
Pretty white gown with a big bow.
Another trend - graphica.

Clean Your Face!
There are so many different types of cleansers available on the market for people to clean their faces. So I thought I might break it down and spell out the different types and how they are different.
What triggered this? Product testing some new products that I’ve been sent.
So, the basics, what is a cleanser? A cleanser helps to remove the dirt, oil and grime from your face so you wash the day away and prevent pimples or blemishes from forming.
This baby is great in the shower. Lather it up with some water and it leaves your skin feeling clean. However, it does over strip the skin so you might feel tight and uncomfortable. In that case, it’s best to avoid this product and choose something calmer, continue reading…
Pictured above is the The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Foaming Cleanser, perfect for Oily skin.
This is used with a cotton pad and no water. You can choose to use water but it’s thick and a lot of the product does tend to stay on the face. I find it doesn’t remove all of the oil effectively.
Pictured above is Jurlique’s Cleansing Lotion, perfect for a dryer or sensitive skin.
So you might be thinking, yuck I want to remove oil from my face so why would I be applying oil back onto my face. The answer is simple, you are removing it because it emulsifies when it comes into contact with water and you are putting moisture back into the skin so the skin doesn’t overproduce oil and cause pimples.
Pictured above is Shu Uemura’s Cleansing Oil. There are different kinds of cleansing oil depending if you are oily to extra dry. I love this because it calms my skin down and decreases my breakouts. Highly recommended.
Last but not least, cleaning your face is really important. Do it twice a day :)

What's Next on the Box
I thought I might share with you guys, some of the tv shows that I've been loving and have enjoyed.
Some are rubbish so they are pure entertainment and some will make you cry!!
Here goes...
A good natured music, talent show that has a new twist on the competition.
The judges are Cee Lo (the guy who sang F* You, Good Luck), Christina Aguilera (Dirrty, Beautiful and Ain't No Other Man), Adam Levine (Maroon 5 She Will be Loved) and Blake (some country singer from the US).
The chemistry between the judges are so good. Cee Lo is that sleazy guy but he is amazingly talented, Christina and Adam BICKER non-stop it's fun to watch them argue like they are brother and sister, Adam himself is a joker and cracks me up and Blake...he's funny too.
The concept is at the Blind Auditions, the judges turn their chairs around when they love the performer's voice and want the performer to be part of their team to win the title of The Voice.
Watch it on Go!
So this lovely and the most sweetest girl got dumped from the last season of The Bachelor but no fear this dentist student is back to find love at 27!
What makes this season so interesting is that there is a masked constestant who doesn't reveal his face throughout the thing, a guy who is a suspect for his ex-wife's death, two arseholes but the bigger arsehole is below.

What makes this season so interesting is that there is a masked constestant who doesn't reveal his face throughout the thing, a guy who is a suspect for his ex-wife's death, two arseholes but the bigger arsehole is below.
So this guy - his name is BENTLEY does everything he can to make Ashley fall in love with him just so he feels like he is winning the game.
On camera, he blantly states that she isn't his type, she's ugly and their making out sucks.
He does a lot worse.
Watch this season on Go!
Same Name
Last but not least is Same Name.
The concept is two people in America, one famous, the other not famous, just your average Joe switch places for a week!
The episode of Reggie Bush - the American football star who was with Kim Kardashian for years and years made me cry when he decided to donate and give to a small community.
The celebrities include Kathy Griffiths, Reggie Bush and Don't Hassle the Hoff.
It's good fun and good entertainment.
'Till next time!

Product reviews - OPI Pirates of the Carribean & Colgate
Since it's been non-stop London weather here, I thought I might brainstorm a list of things that I could do when I'm stuck indoors.
Paint the Nails
So, I recently got the Limited Edition OPI - Pirates of the Carribean nail polishes and I was so excited. Mainly, because the names of the polishes were so exciting themselves. My favourite is Skulls and Glossbones, which is second from the right.
The rest of them are from left to right: Silver Shatter, Skull and Crossbones, Steady as She Rose, Sparrow Me The Drama, Planks A lot, Stranger Tides, Mermaids Tears.
And don't try Stranger Tides, it looks like puke...
See what I mean about the names...so funny...whoever created them is awesome.
Brush my teeth for that killer smile
Since I am indoors, I thought why not get myself looking good so when I can go outdoors (when Sydney weather turns back into Sydney weather), my smile might kill.
Introduce, Colgate's new whitening toothpaste.
So what they are selling is that you get whiter teeth in one week...perhaps I didn't brush frequent enough or hard enough but my teeth are not sparklers yet.
But this weekend, in my breaks between cramming/studying, I will brush my teeth thoroughly with this new toothpaste and see if there are actual results.
Wish me luck!

Sad goodbye to Harry...
To celebrate (or to absolutely devastated that this wonderful series is coming to an end) the new release of the last Harry Potter movie, let's take a look at what the HP crew look like now.
And boy have they grown up!
Hermoine (I mean Emma) is now the face of luxury brand Burberry and a fashion icon.
See below for a man. (His name is Matt Lewis if you girls want to look him up)
I will be in the cinemas watching my Harry fight for his life and friends...*sob

Sydney Theatre - Who's the Best?
But I was puzzled many times as well. That didn't help by the fact that they talk extremely fast. "Now each category has a sub category and that sub category have sub sub category but if that one person is the best in the sub sub category, it doesn't mean that they are the best out of the sub category..."
Seeeeeee how confusing it was...
And this was the first 2 minutes.
It's about three people who want to find out who is the best out of the three of them.
So they debate the crap of everything that is not worth talking or thinking about by normal people standards.
It's funny. See it people.
It's showing at Wharf 2, Sydney Theatre Company until Saturday 2 July 2011. Click here for more info and to buy tickets.

Holiday Spots---Chosen by the Celebs
So I am rolling into year end...that's right this time round I am suppose to prepare myself for working 20 days in a row, from 8.30 (translation 9am because I know I won't wake up in time) until 10pm (translation midnight or 1am because I am a wishful thinker).
And the rest of the two months are my 'normal' hours 8.30pm until 9pm.
As you can imagine, I am planning my weekend aways or much-needed holidays.
To do this, I thought get a little of inspiration from the fame and fortuned.
So in summary, I am only dreaming...

CABO
This is definitely suited to a young crowd like myself but not quite like the Jersey Shore peeps. It's got beaches to water sports, unequaled sportfishing, nightlife and shopping.
Saint-Tropez, France
Saint-Tropez has held that mysterious allure ever since the Invasion of Normandy. The beaches are gorgeous, the hotels and the yachts are swanky– not to mention bigger than your house.
It's a place for the wealthy to roam.
Aspen, ColoradoHollywood starlets invade these slopes and spend Christmas in this fantasy Winter Wonderland. A place for the wealthy who love to ski.
Bora Bora, French Polynesia
This destination is for the young couples. Full of honeymoon goers and no wonder. It's so beautiful and have lovely restaurants.
Mallorca, Spain
The Balearic island in Spain is a classic celebrity and royal retreat. It costs big money to live and vacation well here which means I won't be visiting this destination either. Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones own a property worth in the area of $8 million and a Vespa tour of the island will whizz you past homes that belong to F1 drivers, tennis pros and Brit footballers and pop stars.
So in summary, I am only dreaming...

Wishing it was Spring! MAC-Style.
So we all know it's been freezing!! And if you work in my area, the wind is stronger than Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime/body-building days.
So what else can a girl do but dream and wish that Spring would come sooner rather than later?
The new range of colours (obviously to be in lined with the US of the A seasons) is really pretty and soft.
They have added eye-shadows and lipsticks but my favourite are the LipGelees!
So you know where I will be...DJs, MAC counter playing with these pretty colours and hoping that Spring will come really soon!
